Berkeley Social Security Attorney
Burke Bindbeutel graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2013, and earned his Bachelor of Arts at Colorado College in 2005. He has made his career as an advocate for workers in Social Security disability proceedings. He has published legal scholarship in the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law, Southern Illinois University Law Journal, and Saint Louis University Law Journal. After graduating from Mizzou Law, he served as an Illinois JusticeCorps Fellow and co-led a team of volunteers providing legal information to people without lawyers at the Daley Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, and an organizer with Citizens' Climate Lobby. He serves on the screening committee of the True/False Film Festival. Burke lives in Berkeley, California.
